This is a convivial group which whiles away an afternoon tasting four or five different wines. Themes have included Southern Hemisphere, Eastern European, Eastern Mediterranean, Spanish, Italian, French, South African, English, Sparkling and Merlot. The cost is generally £6 and it has been interesting to discuss the merits of wine from unusual areas such as Russia, India and Lebanon as well as the more usual lands.
