About our Committee

Committee members are elected to the committee at the AGM in April, and can serve a maximum of two 3-year terms, but you can join the committee at any time of the year.

We also welcome members who may not wish to commit to a full committee position but are able to assist on an as-needed basis. (e.g. special events, both in planning and/or on-the-day).

Any member of Windsor u3a is welcome to attend one of our committee meetings (held on the first Wednesday, monthly) as an observer, just contact the secretary to arrange.

Peter Todd

Chair

The Chair’s role is to lead the Committee in setting and delivering u3a direction and strategy.

Martin Pritchett

Vice chair

The Vice Chair’s role is to support and deputise for the chair.

Carol Crago

Secretary

The Secretary role includes publicity of Monthly Meetings, dissemination of information from the Third Age Trust, South East Region and Thames Valley Network to committee.

David Treder

Treasurer

This role looks after our finances, licensing, expenses and Charity Commission business.

Kate Fagence

Membership

This role handles Membership renewals, updates and queries and organises refreshment provision at various meetings.

Derek Gadd

Data Admin

Derek looks after the Beacon Membership database and assists with Technical Facilities at monthly meetings.

Mo Salter

Groups Coordinator

Mo organises the starting of new Groups.

Jackie Wiggins

Newsletter Editor

Jackie compiles our monthly Newsletter.

Dave Humphries

Web Editor

Dave administers the web site, including production of the phone-readable Newsletter from Jackie’s pdf content. He also leads the Technical Facilities team.

Joanna Wattis

Speaker Bookings

Jo is the primary contact for speakers at our monthly meetings.
