These “friends” make up a new u3a group for women who want to meet regularly to exchange ideas and offer mutual advice and support on fashion they might like in their wardrobe, what is already in their wardrobe and, perhaps, things that shouldn’t be in their wardrobe! The hope is that what they share with each other in the meetings could open their eyes to new ideas and ways to dress. An initial programme of meetings includes colour; styles; body shape; make-up; co-ordination; personal shopping outing; shopping on a budget; recycling; swap shop; Bring out your unloved, unworn garment. The alternate months schedule started in February 2024.
