Updating Beacon

For compliance purposes, we need to ensure that all the membership details of each of our Groups are correct and up to date on Beacon.

Please check your Group(s) on Beacon to make sure:

  • Any new members are ‘added’ to your Group(s) by name or u3a membership number.
  • Any members that have left your Group(s) are removed by selecting the member and selecting ‘remove’.
  • For any members of your Group(s) shown in red, please refer to the status column. This will indicate if the member has not renewed / lapsed their membership, or has resigned. These members will also need removing from your Group(s), as any member not recorded as having paid their membership fee, with a ‘current’ status, will not be covered by u3a insurance.
  • DH asks: Should we mention; the grace period in January and February (if not Resigned or Lapsed)? Also denying attendance from March??
