Bluebells at RSPB Church Wood

By | July 7, 2024

Three members of the Photography group had a peaceful visit to the RSPB reserve at Church Wood, on Hedgerley Hill on 25th April. Attendance was down as many of the group’s other members were returning from Floriade in the Netherlands, which precluded them joining us on the scheduled date, but with luck, some will manage their own visits in the next week or so.

The weather was a bit mixed, starting grey when Dave and Janice arrived, with a brief period of sunshine, then grey returned, followed by drizzle, and finally rain by 16:00.

Neil had time-shifted his visit an hour earlier, which allowed him to show, or describe to us, where the best patches were (thanks Neil).

Next month’s meeting will be to review both these and the previous month’s shots from our visit to Staines for the architecture.
