In May the group visited Bridge End Cottage Gardens in Ockham again. It was very different from last year as the wildflower meadow was very lush with flowers about to bloom, whereas last year the flowers had gone and the ground was very dry!
Bridge End also has a beautiful, cultivated garden. We envied the vegetable patch, so the owner took us to her greenhouse and there offered us some seedlings. I accepted a couple of tomato plants – Gold and Crimson. Watch this space.
