The Commonwealth War Graves Commission

We will hear about the history of the CWGC and its work today. We will begin with how the Commission began, its work during the First and Second World Wars and conclude with its work today in maintaining and preserving our historic estate around the world. The presentation will also focus on the war graves in our area and tell stories of some of those who are commemorated.

to cover the cost of the speaker, room hire and refreshments.
