  • An overview of the Music of the Baroque Period.
    Sandy Burnett charts the dazzling Baroque era from Monteverdi to Handel, using images, manuscripts and vivid using images, manuscripts and vivid musical examples. Drawing on his broadcaster’s flair and musician’s insight, he brings Bach and his contemporaries to life with energy, clarity and humour.

Anyone can attend, new members warmly welcomed.
No need to book.

Non-members may attend and optionally join on the day (with credit/debit card).

If you wear hearing aids with a “T” (telecoil) option;
Please sit within the area of chairs bounded by a white cable taped to the floor.
This is the front two thirds of the hall seating block furthest from car park doors.

We sometimes take photos at meetings for u3a publicity;
